Project Overview
SmartHire is a full-featured web-based recruitment platform built with Python and Flask. It supports three distinct user roles — job seekers, employers, and administrators — each with a dedicated dashboard. Employers can post job listings, manage applicants, and track interview pipelines. Job seekers can search for opportunities, apply, monitor application status, and connect with companies. The platform also includes direct messaging, analytics, and CSV report exports. Built with Flask-SQLAlchemy for ORM, Flask-Login for authentication, and PyMySQL for database connectivity.
